FPS Ophthalmic Services

 

FPS Ophthalmic Services are responsible for the payment of community ophthalmic practitioners, and the maintenance of the statutory Ophthalmic List. 

A wide range of information is also provided to the Health & Social Services Board, the professional advisors and the Department of Health.

Other areas of responsibility include the inspection of new or improved community ophthalmic premises and servicing the statutory Ophthalmic Committee.
