Family Practitioner Services Statistics for Northern Ireland - Key Facts 2022/23
Since the 2019/20 financial year, we have been producing individual annual reports for each FPS service area, along with quarterly updates. We also publish various other reports relating to each service area as well as Personal Protective Equipment Statistics from BSO's Procurement and Logistics Service (PaLS).
Please use the icons below or the navigation panel at the right of the page to find these.
In the meantime the FPS annual compendium reports are available via the link below.
BSO are a specified producer of official statistics. This means we publish reports and outputs in compliance with the UK Statistics Authority Code of Practice.
In line with this we have produced a statistics charter and a compliance statement which specifies how we met our obligations to the UK Statistics Authority under the Code of Practice.

BSO Information Unit are happy to accept feedback from users about our statistics at any time, but as part of our ongoing commitment to ensure our publications and associated documents continue to meet users’ needs, we are gauging interest in an online event, potentially in February 2023, which would provide an opportunity for users to consider our current publications and any additional requirements you may wish to be included in future publications.
If you feel you would be interested in such an event, please email Info.BSO@hscni.net before 13th January 2023, indicating whether you would prefer the event to consider a single service area or all four service areas.
Honest Broker Service
We also host the Honest Broker Service in conjunction with the BSO Regional Data Warehouse.
The aim of the Honest Broker Service is to enable non-identifiable data to be safely shared to maximise the uses and health service benefits which can be gained from it, including planning, commissioning of services and public health monitoring. The HBS enables access to anonymised, aggregated and in some cases pseudonymised health and social care data to the DoH, HSC organisations and for anonymised data for health and social care related research.
