Health+Pharmacy Standards - Self assesment Questionaire (Word Version)
This is designed to let you asses your pharmacy against the Health+Pharmacy standards, both at the initial planning stage and regularly as you progress. You will be asked to submit your final version prior to your accreditation visit (there is no need to submit it before this).
Progress record and accreditation visit form (PDF Version)
Progress record and accreditation visit form (Word Version)
This should be completed and submitted to the HSCB monthly (see form for details) as a record of your progress to achieving the standards. This form is also used to request an accreditation visit.
This template describes the criteria that will be used to assess achievement of the Health+Pharmacy quality standards. It will be used by the assessor during the accreditation visit. You are NOT required to complete this in advance of the visit but it would be useful to be familiar with it prior to the visit day.
Health+Pharmacy Training
Both a pharmacist and a non-pharmacist (the Health and Wellbeing Adviser) are required to attend training prior to accredtitation. Enrolment is via https://www.nicpld.org/ . If the nominated members of staff change please inform HSCB by email via healthpluspharmacy@hscni.net who will in turn advise NICPLD.
Key training materials are also available on the website.
Health and Social Wellbeing Improvement Training Opportunities available for Pharmacies
A directory of Health and Social Wellbeing training courses and providers across NI, beyond the foundation NICPLD training. This will assist staff in developing their skills further, allowing the pharmacy to target key areas of need within their community.
