BSO ITS APPRENTICESHIP SCHEME

Welcome!

Welcome to the Business Services Organisation (BSO) link for applications to ICT Apprenticeship placements within our Information Technology Services (ITS) department.

Who is the BSO?

The BSO is an organisation within the Health and Social Care (HSC) sector in Northern Ireland. Further information about our organisation and what we do can be found within the Information Booklet below and feel free to visit the rest of our website for more information.

General Information on the BSO ICT Apprenticeship Scheme

Just below is a document that contains information about ICT Apprenticeship placements in the BSO, including information on types of placements on offer, brief background on the BSO and ITS, plus details on location, benefits and payment from the BSO during the ICT Apprenticeship. There is also information on the selection process and how to prepare for interviews which we would recommend having a look at if you decide to apply for an ICT Apprenticeship in the BSO. At this stage, there is 1 Apprenticeship available within the Infrastructure area and 3 within the Software Development area.  If you are selected for interview, you will be asked to indicate your preference should you be successful.

What Happens Next?

Information on how we shortlist candidates for interview is included in the Information Booklet. We will be interviewing the top 36 ranked candidates who apply for a place on the BSO Apprenticeship scheme based on your online testing scores. This may be extended to next candidates on list, in order, depending on demand for interview.

Information on interview dates can be found within the Information booklet as well.
