Rotas

A rota is provided by Community Pharmacies on Sundays, public holidays and in some towns in the evening when other pharmacies are closed.

Patients can obtain medicines and advice from a pharmacist when there are no other pharmacies open.

A rota usually lasts one hour and is at a suitable time for patients who have attended a GP Out of Hours Centre and need to have a prescription dispensed.

To find out which pharmacy is providing a rota in your town click on the Weekly & Holiday Rotas on the right.  Once you have opened a rota calendar, please note that it will cover several months throughout the year, so you are able to scroll down the page to display the relevant information.
